A complete hydraulic system consists of five parts, namely power components, executive components, control components, auxiliary components (accessories) and hydraulic oil.
Folding power element
The role of the power element is to convert the mechanical energy of the prime mover into the pressure energy of the liquid, which refers to the oil pump in the hydraulic system, which provides power to the entire hydraulic system. The structure of hydraulic pump generally has gear pump, vane pump and plunger pump.
Folding actuator
The role of the actuator (such as the hydraulic cylinder and the hydraulic motor) is to convert the pressure energy of the liquid into mechanical energy, and drive the load for linear reciprocating or rotating motion.
Folding control element
Control elements (i.e. various hydraulic valves) control and regulate the pressure, flow and direction of liquids in the hydraulic system. According to the different control functions, hydraulic valves can be divided into pressure control valves, flow control valves and direction control valves. Pressure control valves are divided into relief valves (safety valves), pressure reducing valves, sequence valves, pressure relays, etc. Flow control valves include throttle valves, adjusting valves, diverting and collecting valves, etc. Direction control valves include check valves, hydraulic control check valves, shuttle valves, reversing valves, etc. According to different control methods, hydraulic valves can be divided into switch type control valves, fixed value control valves and proportional control valves.
Folding auxiliary components
Auxiliary components include fuel tank, oil filter, tubing and fittings, sealing ring, quick change fittings, high pressure ball valve, hose assembly, pressure gauge, oil level oil temperature gauge, etc.

Hydraulic oil is the working medium of energy transfer in hydraulic system, there are various mineral oil, emulsion and forming hydraulic oil and so on.
